You can follow your package in the Mis paquetes (My packages) section of your account. The process goes through pre-alert, receipt in Miami, import, receipt in Cali, delivery preparation and dispatch. Each stage is different: a package being in one stage does not mean it is already in the next.
What are the stages of your shipment?
- Pre-alert: you recorded the information. The package has not been received yet.
- Receipt in Miami: our operator logs the package.
- Import: it travels to Colombia. The operation works on a weekly cycle, with no guaranteed dates.
- Receipt in Cali: it arrives and is checked.
- Preparation: we verify payment, identify your package and pack it. When it makes sense, it is consolidated with your other packages.
- Dispatch or pickup: it is handed to the carrier or you pick it up at the office.
When do you pay?
The cost of the operation is generated after your package arrives in Cali. Once payment is verified, delivery is released.
When should you write to us?
If your package does not change stage, that does not mean it is lost. Write to us and we will review the records for your case.
Frequently asked questions
Does pre-alerted mean it has already reached Miami?
No. It means you recorded the shipment information. Receipt is confirmed later.
If the carrier says delivered, does ByOrder already have it?
Not necessarily. USPS, for example, may mark it as delivered before the warehouse logs it.
If it is already in Cali, can I pick it up?
The checks and preparation must be completed first. Support can confirm when it is available.
